Get into the Christmas spirit...it's never too early when making decorations!
Join us in making three of your own needle-felt Christmas baubles. We will demonstrate the techniques needed to make baubles and with lots of different designs for inspiration, it's over to you to get felting.
Each person will make 1 large, 1 medium and 1 small bauble and leave with the skills to carry on at home.
Suitable for beginners, all materials and equipment are included for use during the session and a full equipment list will be provided to aid with your continued crafting.
Did we mention there are also bottomless teas and coffees? Enjoy a cuppa and a cake, while you create. If you have any special dietary requirements please feel free to bring a snack along with you.
As this workshop runs over lunchtime, please feel free to bring along a sandwich/snack to keep you going!
We estimate this workshop to last approx 4 hours, however, please note we have no time limit, as everyone creates at different speeds.
Christmas Bauble Needle Felt Workshop
Location: Lightwater, Surrey GU18 5UZ
Time: 1pm - approx. 5pm
Arrival: We advise you to aim to arrive at Folly Lodge 15 minutes before the start time of your class to allow time to find parking. We have space for approx 5/6 cars at Folly Lodge, once these are full there is parking in the layby outside or, alternatively, on the road opposite, Lightwater Road, there is on-street parking and you can walk over to Folly Lodge. Sara, will be there to meet everyone and take them down to the studio 10 minutes before the class start time.
Equipment: The kettle will be on, cakes will be on the cake stand and all materials and equipment will be provided. If you are vegan or gluten-free please feel free to bring a snack with you.
